United Way of Atlantic County works locally to create opportunities for a better life for all who live and work in our county. It takes the whole community, working together to achieve results.

United Way partners with 40 local non-profits, hundreds of businesses, county and state governments, and our many volunteers to build initiatives and fund programs that create lasting change. Our efforts focus on the building blocks of a good quality of life - education, income & health.

Our work is framed by outcomes aimed at strengthening our community as a whole. Our goal is to create lasting change by promoting solutions that can help problems from happening in the first place.

Our work is focused in four core priorities:

  • Basic Needs & Independence
  • Community Health Issues
  • Mental Wellness & Reducing Substance Abuse
  • Safer Homes & Neighborhoods
