United Way of Atlantic County brings people and resources together to solve pressing community problems by nurturing children and at-risk youth, strengthening families by providing basic needs, promoting physical and mental wellness, empowering the handicapped and disabled, enhancing the quality of life for older adults, and addressing today's critical needs.
United Way of Atlantic County is a local, independent, volunteer driven organization that conducts a once a year workplace fundraising campaign that supports some 60 programs at 40 local health and human services agencies, touching the lives of over 100,000 people who live in Atlantic County.
United Way of Atlantic County keeps fundraising costs low so that nearly all contributions go to fund programs that help people in need.
United Way of Atlantic County volunteers review the performance of local agencies and distribute donations to those that are well-managed and have demonstrated results.
United Way of Atlantic County works with businesses and community organizations to improve existing services in the community.
