ATLANTIC RIDING CENTER FOR THE HANDICAPPED ANNOUNCES NEW LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM

Egg Harbor Township: The Atlantic Riding Center for the Handicapped in Egg Harbor Township is pleased to introduce their ‘Life Skills Program’, as a new after school activity. This curriculum is an inventive way to introduce and improve life skills such as respect, trust, cooperation, teamwork, social manners, and more to junior high students needing role models, standards, and rules to improve their lives, in and out of school. The after school program will be held every Friday for eight weeks from 4:00 to 6:00 beginning in May.

“ Our 'Life Skills Program' encourages students to stay in school, get better grades and gives them the confidence to go on to further their education. Through the use of the horse, as a partner, these students become aware of their self worth, their abilities and potentials in life. Teachers and disciplinarians are already impressed with the positive changes in similar students who have participated as part of a school program. We now want to open it up to all students.” says ARCH Director Susan Adams.

Open registration is being held for this moving new after school riding program. For more information call Rindy Faust at 609-926-2233 or email her at Rindy206@aol.com.
