2-1-1 Non-Emergency Helpline

A first step for help, answers, guidance and a caring voice is New Jersey’s 2-1-1 Non-Emergency Helpline. Funded in part by United Way of Atlantic County, 2-1-1’s two regional call centers can provide you with information about health and human service agencies in your community and statewide.

2-1-1 is a connection to the resources needed to work out problems facing you and your family. It’s FREE and confidential. When you call 2-1-1- you’ll talk to someone who speaks your language – someone who’s kind and eager to help, who has information about thousands of agencies, government services and community resources that offer solutions.

2-1-1 has information about everything from basic needs like food, housing and health care to legal services, drug treatment, job assistance, childcare, mental health services, transportation, financial assistance, municipal programs and a lot more. It’s a very simple way to find the help that you’re looking for.

So even if life seems full of problems, finding help shouldn’t be one of them.
